Many farm implements are displayed including a 9ft wide ' nagg rake ', hay forks, a hay spade and hay knife. Also displayed are mole traps and gin traps (which are now illegal) and a host of fearsome veterinary equipment.
The Barn
| This
authentic 18th century setting explores the farming year which dominated
the life of the village. Labourers were hired out each Martinmas (11th November)
at the hiring fairs. Hiring boxes are displayed which held all the belongings
farm labourers took with them when they were hired out. The labourers at
Burn's Farm slept here in the hayloft.
