The Heritage Lottery Fund had agreed to fund the expansion of the Hornsea Pottery Project.

Matching funding has been raised by the Museum Trustees over the past few years, helped by a legacy and a substantial donation from a former Hornsea resident.

This involves the purchase of the neighbouring house, and removal of the pottery so that it can all be seen together. It is known as the Consolidation project.

The work commenced in 2007 and is expected to be completed by mid 2008.
